Jungle Safari Packages
It is 2-3 hours safari by Jeep, in morning time (Gate open: 07-09 am) and in evening time (Gate open 3-5pm) in which you can experience Jungle. Rajaji National Park is a very famous tourist destination located in the India state of Uttarakhand. The region is mainly famous for the Asian Elephant Reserve. Main transport options around the reserve are jeeps safaris. Private vehicles (as per Nainital High Court Order) are not allowed inside the Reserve forest, and this is one point to note while taking up a trip to Rajaji. At Rajaji you can get the chance of viewing Spotted Deer, Sambhar, Wild Boar, tiger, leopard, Barking deer, Goral Two kinds of Bears Himalayan Black and Sloth, and over 400 bird species makes Rajaji National Park a perfect wild life safari and bird watching destination.
SAFARI ZONES
Rajaji National park has various safari zones. Some are situated around Haridwar city and some near Dehradun. Yet zones near to Haridwar city are very popular among tourists due to its habitat in Ganga belt. It has mainly four Safari Zones (Chilla, Jhilmil, Motichur, Ranipur) in order to manage and balance the number of tourists. While Dehradun has Asarori and Mohand entries. Activities such as Jungle Safari (on Gypsy), Bird Watching, half day visit, full day visits can be done. Visitors can choose any of following Safari zones for their wild life experience. Ranipur and Jhilmil zones are about 15 km from Haridwar city, while Chilla and Motichur are 12 and 9 km from Haridwar City. All four zones are in four different direction of city.
CHILLA ZONE
Track Length: 36 Km, Circular
Safari Duration: 3-3:30 hours
Enjoy an unforgettable 36 km circular safari drive through a stunning mix of dense sal forests and open chaur grasslands. This 3–3.5 hour journey offers an immersive wildlife experience, taking you from the entry gate to the scenic Mundal Sot track. The zone is home to majestic Asian Elephants, elusive Tigers and Leopards, along with Spotted Deer, Sambar, Langur, Barking Deer, and Jungle Cats. Bird lovers can delight in sightings of the magnificent Pied Hornbill and Great Hornbill. A perfect blend of wilderness and adventure awaits in this vibrant jungle landscape!

JHILMIL ZONE
Track Length: 20 Km
Safari Duration: 2:30-3 hours
Habitat: The southern marshy grasslands of Chilla are a dedicated conservation reserve for the rare Swamp Deer, making it the only place in Uttarakhand and western Uttar Pradesh where you can spot this graceful species. This vibrant habitat is also a paradise for bird lovers, especially from November to March when migratory birds arrive in large numbers. Along with Swamp Deer, the area is home to Tigers, Leopards, Elephants, Wild Boar, and four species of deer. During winter, the famous Crocodile Point becomes a major attraction, while certain forest patches also shelter the elusive Black Bear — offering an exciting and diverse wildlife experience.

RANIPUR ZONE

Safari Duration: 2-2:30 hours
Habitat: The entry to Beribara FRH, part of the original Rajaji Wild Sanctuary, takes you back to the charm of the British era. Once a VVIP shikar zone, this historic forest range still carries the legacy of its royal past. Flanked by the fertile Terai farmlands to the south, the landscape features ber trees, cheer pine, teak, rohini, and scrub forests interwoven with lantana, creating a rich and diverse habitat. Today, it is especially popular for thrilling Leopard sightings, offering visitors a perfect blend of history and wilderness.

Chillawali Zone
Track Length: 35 Km, Straight

Habitat: Just 20 kilometers from Dehradun, the stunning Chillawali (Mohand) Safari Zone in Rajaji National Park is a true haven for wildlife and nature enthusiasts. Located near the peaceful town of Mohand, and easily accessible via the Saharanpur–Dehradun National Highway, this destination offers an unforgettable jungle experience.
The 35-kilometer safari route from the Mohand Gate takes around 2.5 to 3 hours, guiding visitors through dense forests and scenic rolling hills. The zone is especially famous for its frequent Leopard sightings, with lucky visitors often spotting multiple leopards during a single safari.
